Responsibilities include coordinating care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions. You will collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You'll demonstrate competence and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise while applying appropriate age and population-specific standards as indicated in your clinical setting. This role adheres to the standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules relevant to your state of practice and licensure, ensuring a commitment to the Scope and Standards of Practice as well as the Code of Ethics for Nurses published by the American Nurses Association.\n\nQualifications\n\nMust have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in nursing.\n\nAdditional education, training, or experience requirements may be necessary for specific services / positions. Candidates must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or have accumulated a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility.\n\nRequires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, where practice occurs. Nurses providing care over the phone must hold licensure in the states where the patients reside.
