A company is looking for a Specialty Review Pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and interpret clinical guideline criteria for specialty medications and render coverage determinations
Conduct outbound clinical consult calls with healthcare providers and patients to address inquiries regarding determinations
Document prior authorization cases thoroughly and maintain quality and productivity standards for all reviews
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD with current unrestricted pharmacist licensure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with clinical resources (Micromedex, Lexicomp, Clinical Pharmacology)
Ability to translate clinical information for both clinical and non-clinical audiences
Must have a designated secure workplace for remote work
Familiarity with data entry software or CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
