Sr System Engineer

This Systems Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining environments across our retail clients hybrid Microsoft stack. They will enforce governance via Azure Policy, manage infrastructure costs, and support CI / CD pipelines. The role requires deep technical expertise in Azure, on-premise Microsoft infrastructure, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain environments across Dev, Test, Stage, and Sandbox using Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Implement and manage test data gold copy strategies using Rubrik, Azure Blob Storage, and automated pipelines.
• Enforce naming conventions and RBAC policies via Azure Policy.
• Automate backup and restore processes for SQL Server databases and VMs using Rubrik and Terraform.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution, including annual DR tests.
• Monitor infrastructure, integrations, and batch jobs using Microsoft LogicMonitor; Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure data masking, logging, and audit compliance.
• Maintain environment isolation and approval workflows for provisioning and decommissioning.
• Assist in the transition from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations, supporting environment expansion and ISV integrations.
