Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC); Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC)

Available Wednesdays - Saturdays, and as needed.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC); Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our treatment team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorders by providing expert counseling and support. Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions for clients with substance use disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
  • Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and relapse prevention
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and organizational standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and community resources to support client recovery
  • Stay current with industry best practices, licensing requirements, and continuing education

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Valid and current Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC); Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) credential
  • Proven experience in addiction counseling or related mental health services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
