Job Title : Histology Technician

Location : New York, NY 10065

Duration : 24 weeks assignment.

Schedule : M-F 7a-3p

Pay Range (Local) : $48 - $58 / Hour.

Pay Range (Travel) : $2300 - $2500 / Week

Required Experience :

  • Able to gross small biopsies & simple routine specimens under supervision of Pathology Assistant & Supervisor.
  • Exp in embedding & microtomy of all surgical specimens.
  • 2-3 yrs exp in histology for biopsy specimen & derm.

Education :

  • Associate's in science & completion of approved Histology accredited program (required). Or bachelor's or equivalent exp (required).
  • NYS Clinical Laboratory Tech License or Certified Histology Tech or Clinical Lab Tech from NYS DOE (required).
