As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Logistics in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a logistics and distribution location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a secure environment, while you provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents as needed, and support access control procedures. Pay Rate : $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Assist with access control procedures for visitors, employees, and vehicles as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal's standards of service.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
