As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a logistics and distribution location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a secure environment, while you provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents as needed, and support access control procedures. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.Assist with access control procedures for visitors, employees, and vehicles as required by site-specific protocols.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal's standards of service.What We're Looking For :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
