Senior Staff Accountant :

  • Good understanding of the month-end process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals, journal entries, and / or maintain reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Balance Sheet account reconciliations.

Bank Reconciliations.

  • Accounts receivable analysis.
  • Preparation and recording of monthly accruals.
  • Financials analysis and reporting.
  • Annual Audit documentation preparation.
  • Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, or annual accounts receivable reports and / or general ledger reconciliations.
  • Lead in reporting issues to management related to past due items and unresolved issues.
  • Initiate distribution requests for industry related settlement payments.
  • Assist with the budget and forecasting activities.

    • Support for other team members :

  • Cash Receipts : Prepare deposits including coding.
  • A / R : Enter customer payments into AR subledger system and / or accounting system.
  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices for industry specific services and settlements.
  • Support for Financial Analyst
  • Performs other accounting duties as assigned.

    • Other :

  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Organize & maintain detailed filling system. Keeps accurate records.
  • Hybrid schedule.

    • Ideal Candidate :

  • Bachelor’ Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 year accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and record keeping procedures (GAAP)
  • Balance Sheet Account Analysis experience required.
  • Journal entry preparation experience required.
  • Income Statement Analysis helpful.
  • Business Central Dynamics 365 knowledge helpful.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter and resourceful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software such as Great Plains or Business Central Dynamics 365.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform a variety of complex accounting and clerical duties with the highest degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all contacted in the scope of employment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Exceptional oral and written English communication skills.
