Bracken Plumbing is seeking a self-supervised, skilled, and experienced Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a vital member of our plumbing crew, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing tasks, including on-call duties, installation, repair, and maintenance, or construction such as rough-in, top-out, and finish-out, while adhering to industry standards and regulations. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities as Service Plumber :
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial settings, including but not limited to :
- Pipe fitting and installation
- Fixture installation and repair
- Water heater installation and repair
- Drain cleaning and maintenance
- Sewer line inspection and repair
Service Plumbers, should also be able to :
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete plumbing tasks with precision and craftsmanship.Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.Collaborate with other team members, including apprentices and technicians, to ensure the timely completion of projects and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and customer interactions.Communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing services, answer questions, and address concerns on a professional and courteous manner.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new plumbing technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Represent [Plumbing Business Name] with integrity and professionalism at all times, fostering positive relationships with customers and the community.Requirements :
Valid journeyman plumber license issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a journeyman plumber in the plumbing industry.Strong technical skills and proficiency in all aspects of plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.Thorough understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Willingness to work flexible hours occasionally, including evenings and weekends, and respond to emergency service calls as needed.Company Description
