Must have neuro and ortho experience as these are significant case areas.

Must have robotics experience.

Description :

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the system.

A driver's license is required for submission and will determine eligibility based on proximity.

Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.

Refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to termination of the contract.

Candidates must have strong experience in ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, robotics, and more.

Common cases include general surgeries such as bowel, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repair.

Candidates will also assist in organ procurements and various laparoscopic surgeries.

In gynecology, cases include C-sections and hysterectomies.

For urology, common procedures include circumcision, cystoscopy, and nephrectomy.

Orthopedic surgeries include total knees and hips, as well as open reduction and internal fixation.

Neurosurgery encompasses ACDF, burr holes, and craniotomies.

Plastic surgery cases include trauma plastics and skin grafts.

Eye surgeries involve enucleation and vitrectomy.

ENT procedures comprise laryngectomy, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty.

Thoracic surgeries may include lobectomy and thoracotomy.

Endoscopy procedures involve bronchoscopies and colonoscopies.

Pediatric cases will arise in emergency situations.

Robotics equipment includes Da Vinci Robot.

Experience with stealth, O-arm, and holmium lasers is essential.

Shifts consist of both 8 and 12-hour periods between 0630-1500 or 0630-1900.

Call requirements entail 1-4 hours after a shift weekly and weekend call approximately every 5 weeks.

There are 2 call teams alternating every 12 hours.

No floating outside of the operating room is required.

Green scrubs will be provided.

Requests for time off should be submitted upfront, with restrictions on additional requests during the contract.

Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per assignment.

The charting system utilized is EPIC.

A BSN is not required for this position.

This role is in an acute care setting with Trauma Level 1.

The division is Allied Health.
