Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for the management and evaluation of media operations which includes coordinating, scheduling of audiovisual productions, staff assignments and equipment maintenance. Process internal and external requests for services.
Essential Functions :
- Manage and evaluate the daily operations of media projects and assigned staff.
- Develop policies and procedures for filling requests for television production services, as well as controlling production facilities and equipment.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate employee work schedules.
- Keep abreast of current media trends and recommends possible innovative future video needs.
- Act as a liaison with the City of Houston Master Control for program scheduling and program delivery.
- Interface with both System-wide department managers and external groups to develop cable programming.
- Ensure programming compliance as required by City of Houston contract.
- Plan and coordinate multi-activity projects in a logical and cost-effective manner.
- Act as a consultant in developing special projects that might include audio-visual components.
- Recommend annual operating budget, staff, and equipment needs.
- Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required and assigned.
Qualifications :

General Office.
