Job Summary : This position supports the Clinical Laboratory Outreach service, maintaining outreach inventory; filling inventory requests; scheduling courier routes and pickups for clients; managing the database for Outreach Inventory and Vehicle maintenance. Job Description
Staffing : Trains and schedules staff for safe, efficient, and effective client support services. Help couriers represent SEH Laboratory with a high level of quality, safety, and customer service. Oversee the daily operations of the courier team with respect to scheduling, routes, supplies, client calls, and problem resolution.
Inventory Control : Receives supplies requests from clients; fills supply requests and prepares for courier transport resulting in efficient service response. Places Outreach Supply Orders through the SEH ordering software system. Maintains appropriate inventory to cost effectively serve both the clients and Laboratory. Performs clerical functions for inventory supplies control, reconciliation, reporting, and budgeting.
Maintains computerized records for small equipment owned by SEH at client locations; Provides location of each asset to Clinical Engineering for preventive maintenance scheduling.
Vehicle Control : Maintains computerized records for all courier vehicles to include maintenance and service history. Helps process and schedule service for courier vehicles. Helps process requests for repairs and purchase of courier vehicles. Maintains service manuals. Helps courier team to maintain a safe environment while in vehicle for both cargo and person.
Logistic and Tracking / Safety Devices : Maintains all service manuals and history, preventive maintenance records, and contracts for all logistic and tracking / safety devices (GPS) in use by the courier team resulting in dependable equipment performance. Helps schedule service and / or replacement devices to maintain process expectations.
Communication and Reporting : Creates monthly status reports for the Client Support Services Leadership and Director with respect to the following : current and past-due service / maintenance on equipment and vehicles; safety and customer service issues; client supply reporting compared to budgeted supply costs; Client supplied inventory compared to client test volume. Communicates to both courier team and Client Support leadership opportunities for improvement.
Able to provide tracking of inventory, equipment / devices, vehicles assignment, and use via software applications and maintained computerized spreadsheets.
Able to perform all courier duties and fill in on schedule or for client needs.

Two years of experience in service scheduling and office management
