Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for overnight shifts, requiring ARRT® or ARMRIT certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an MRI unit performing a wide variety of magnetic resonance exams on patients of all ages
  • Shift is Monday through Thursday, 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Technologist will work alone from 4 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 AM on Monday to Wednesday, and may occasionally work entire shifts alone
  • Uses MRI scanners including Philips, GE, and Siemens models
  • Department utilizes Cerner for EMR and PACS system for imaging
  • No weekend or call requirements
  • No floating to other units or departments
  • Perform MRI exams as directed by the Radiologist or Manager
  • Role may require working independently for portions or the entirety of a shift if coverage is unavailable
  • Scrubs are the required dress code
  • Shift-specific orientation and training will be provided
  • A two-week notice can be given if needed

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT® or ARMRIT certification required
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Proficiency in operating Philips, GE, and Siemens MRI scanners
  • License required if applicable
