The Tanker & HazMat Endorsement Driver - Class A CDL safely transports and delivers gasoline and distillates by diesel-powered tractor / trailer combination to customer locations with below or above-ground tanks. This is a local night shift position in Beavercreek, OH.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment before, during, and after operation inspection of tractor / trailer combination
- Conduct inspection of fuel delivery equipment for serviceability
- Conduct minor repairs of worn fuel delivery equipment
- Ensure all unit and product documents are present and comply with current DOT and HAZMAT regulations
- Safely operate a fuel delivery tractor / trailer combination
- Adhere to fuel loading terminal operating instructions and emergency procedures
- Safely operate a tractor / trailer combination complying with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations in an urban and rural environment and in all weather conditions
- Comply with all terminal loading procedures
- Determine before and after delivery tank measurements checking for water and other contamination
- Adhere to company procedures for loading and unloading a fuel delivery unit
- Employ customer service skills that are consistent with the company customer relations policy
- Safely operate unit pump system to deliver fuel products into above-ground tanks
- Operate the On-Board computer system effectively to maintain driver logs and trip information and prepare customer bills of lading (BOL)
- Accurately provide assessorial information onto BOL
- Provide DOT with required information during inspections and stops
- Conduct pump out of below or above-ground tanks
