Job Summary & Essential Functions
The Test Engineer will develop and maintain hardware and software test platforms, and support and oversee production testing of all products.
Provide technicians with circuit design and technical information on productsProvide test station training to techniciansAssist technicians and provide guidanceEnsure test station equipment is operationalProvide design for DFM and DFT on new and existing projectsProvide test production quotes on test labor and test time estimatesInterface between test and manufacturing on capacity and test availabilityVerify and approve DANs and ECOsDesign test fixtures for new products (ATE and manual)Develop new software applications for testingCreate new Test ProceduresManage fixture fabricationRecommend test equipment for future growthAssist customers in software maintenance and updatingConduct failure analysis and prepare reportsEquipment Used

Minimum Qualifications
Strong understanding of electronics theoryStrong software development skills using Microsoft Visual Basic .NET / C#Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsPreferred Qualifications
BSEE, BSCS or equivalent education / experienceExperience with Microsoft SQL Server and .NET with Visual StudioExperience with LabVIEW, VEE, C / C++Experience / Education / Certifications
