Description

The Waldinger Corporation is excited to hire a Business Solutions Analyst to join our enterprise IT division. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted partner and internal consultant to our corporate Shared Services teams in Accounting, Communications, Facilities, Finance, Fleet, Human Resources, Learning and Development, Marketing, and Safety. You’ll serve as the vital link between business and technology teams, helping us identify opportunities, document requirements, and drive solutions that deliver measurable value.

This position will report through the IT organization but will have dotted-line accountability to the Chief Financial Officer. This structure ensures that the role stays closely aligned with both enterprise technology strategy and the unique needs of the business.

By engaging with stakeholders to understand challenges and goals, you will analyze and document core business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and work with IT and business leaders to design practical solutions. This is a hands-on role focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and value delivery — not frameworks or certifications.

Successful Candidates Will

  • Have proven experience in business analysis or consulting, with a track record of identifying opportunities and delivering process or technology improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and capturing / documenting requirements.
  • Provide insight to management on opportunities to leverage technology and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively on IT scrum teams or cross-functional initiatives to deliver solutions.
  • Exhibit strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Apply big-picture thinking while also diving into detail to uncover process gaps and opportunities.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and analyze challenges, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Document current and future-state business processes using approachable techniques (e.g., process maps, swimlane diagrams, workflows).
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements that IT and vendors can act on.
  • Help build business cases by connecting improvement opportunities to KPIs such as productivity, working capital, and margin improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver practical solutions.
  • Support the evaluation and prioritization of technology initiatives, weighing value, risk, and alignment with strategy.
  • Collect and interpret process metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to align business and IT around improvement goals.
  • Support change management and adoption efforts when new solutions or processes are rolled out.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or process improvement roles.
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques (certification not required).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
  • What You’ll Gain

  • The opportunity to play a high-impact, visible role in shaping how Waldinger uses process and technology to improve operations.
  • The ability to work across multiple business units, acting as a consultant, facilitator, and problem-solver.
  • A collaborative environment where your input directly drives productivity gains and measurable business value.
