A leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC BIM Designer to join our growing team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in HVAC systems, proficiency in BIM software, and excellent communication and coordination skills. This role is key in developing and maintaining precise 3D HVAC models, coordinating with multiple trades, and ensuring designs align with Florida mechanical codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop detailed 3D HVAC models using Revit, SysQue, and Navisworks
• Coordinate models across trades to resolve conflicts prior to construction
• Attend and participate in BIM and coordination meetings
• Maintain updated models and associated documentation throughout project lifecycle
• Perform clash detection and collaborate with design teams to resolve conflicts
• Ensure models meet industry standards and project-specific requirements
• Provide technical support for ongoing projects and field operations
• Create accurate field installation and fabrication drawings
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to meet design intent
• Assist various departments (Engineering, Pre-Con, Construction, Retrofit, and Project Teams) as needed
• Ensure all modeling aligns with the BIM Execution Plan
• Occasionally travel to project sites or other office locations as necessary
