Certifications : BLS, IV certification

Must-Have :

IV start skills and labor & delivery experience

EPIC experience

Description :

Schedule may float to units with similar acuity.

3x12-hour shifts, 12 nights every other week (36 hours per week).

Patient ratios on days are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients).

Patient ratios on nights are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients).

Patient ratios on weekends are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients).

Floating to different units within the organization may be required.

Weekend coverage required.

Two professional references are required.

One reference must be from a manager or director in a formal leadership capacity.

No coworker references accepted.

Candidates must have a valid license in hand at the time of submission.

Education must be from an accredited nursing program.

This is a 40-bed inpatient postpartum unit providing family-centered care to women and infants.

Special procedures include managing postpartum patients and handling newborn assessments.

Additional interdisciplinary support available includes IV teams, physical therapy, and social services.

Candidates should be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process upon contract signing.

All candidates must complete required credentials and compliance promptly.

Travelers who are unresponsive during credentialing may experience delays or cancellations.
