Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working primarily in secondary school / collegiate environments in Sarasota, FL. The role includes coverage for afternoon / evening practices and games, with opportunities for weekend events and / or PRN work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training coverage at practices, games, and events
- Prevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries
- Maintain accurate injury and rehabilitation records
- Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other key stakeholders as needed
- Support injury prevention and strength / conditioning initiatives
- Assist with the development of concussion and wellness programs
- Participate in continued professional development and company programs (CPR training, impact testing, etc.).
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)Certification : Current BOC certification and eligible for state licensureExperience : New Graduates Encouraged (3–5 years preferred); supervisory experience a plus.Key Skills
