job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSupervise, lead and direct the work of manufacturing employees Assist in the continued training and development of manufacturing employees Manages communication between manufacturing department and other departments within the company Perform production tasks according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines with consistent speed and accuracy Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price Implement and monitor standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of product to ensure quality control Oversee the shipping and receiving of all products and inventory Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered Assures optimal stock levels and submits orders when needed Oversee monthly inventory counts Complete tasks to meet production demands; assembly, packing and taping Maintain documents for production related activities for reference purposes Assists in developing the production schedule based in anticipated sales and correlating staffing needs Run a weekly team meeting with all manufacturing employees Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse Assist in assembling product as needed Required Skills : Ability to effectively communicate with others 5+ years of experience in field or related field Deliver sound judgement to plan and accomplish company goals Creativity when solving problems Understanding of supply chain procedures Knowledgeable in a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures Ability to consistently meet deadlines Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Detail oriented Self-starter with outstanding organizational and time management skills Ability to work courteously and have a professional attitude with all AKE staff members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness Preferred Skills : Field experience with an aerosol or pressurized containment related product Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty 6 Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training or certification Field experience with a company reaching $10 to $20 million in revenue Knowledge and ability to use UPS, FedEx and SpeeDee shipping software Powered by JazzHR

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable and detailed oriented to fill a Manufacturing Manager position in Rochester, MN. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing production staff and oversight of all activities involving production, quality control and shipping. This role requires quick adaptation to change and has the ability to keep the success and forward movement of the business as the ultimate top priority.
