Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 12 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location : Tulsa, OK Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30) OR Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements Perform a full range of nuclear medicine studies, including general imaging, SPECT, and PET / CT procedures. Operate Siemens PET / CT, Siemens, and Philips nuclear medicine cameras. Conduct diagnostic scans such as bone, liver / spleen, thyroid, renal, HIDA, and MUGA studies. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following proper handling and safety procedures. Start and maintain IV lines, perform venous draws, and follow isolation precautions. Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary staff to ensure accurate imaging and high-quality patient care. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency cases (approximately one weekend per month). Maintain documentation and reports in Epic (preferred charting system). Provide care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with an average daily census of 8–10. Work effectively with radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Required Qualifications : NMTCB certification required. PET competency required. BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted). Experience with GE and Siemens nuclear medicine equipment preferred. Preferred Qualifications : ARRT (N) and CNMT certifications preferred. Experience in community hospital settings and Epic charting system preferred.
