UI Visualization Front End Engineer (Remote) – CrowdStrike
We are looking for a UI engineer to join our team and help build the next-gen data visualization framework for the Falcon Console. You will create engaging data-driven experiences that help users visualize patterns and navigate threats. You will collaborate closely with product design and UI engineering. If you are passionate about working with large amounts of data and chart visualizations, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Execute on the technical strategy for the front-end data visualization architecture with flexibility, scalability, security and performance in mind
- Design, build, and maintain a single-page application framework
- Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of fellow UI Engineers
- Leverage your technical expertise to help the team make informed decisions around engineering, product design and direction
- Take initiative and build tools to improve your team’s development experience
- Ensure code quality by writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as UX designers, QA engineers, Product Managers, Data / API engineers, and others
- Continually learn about the evolving challenges of the cybersecurity industry and front-end engineering
What You'll Need
Expert knowledge of D3.js-based or HTML5 canvas-based data visualization technologies (e.g., Vega-Lite, HighCharts, amCharts)Expert knowledge of latest web standards and front-end tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful API, GraphQL, TypeScript, Ember CLI, Node / NPM, Webpack, Responsive UI)Experience building user-centric and scalable UI design systems using atomic design principlesUnderstanding of Cloud Technologies and end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS productsExperience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices and WCAG guidelinesExperience with internationalization (i18n)Experience with front-end frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, Vue or similarExperience with CSS frameworks such as TailwindExperience with front-end data-mocking services and toolsExperience with data fetching and state management librariesKnowledge of CI / CD best practices and tools for resolving build issues and optimizing build timeB.S. Degree in a related fieldGood collaboration and communication skillsAdvocacy for UX consistency, accessibility and empathy for the end userBonus Points

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
