Systems Administrator

Overview

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for a team of System Administrators.
• Collaborate with management to understand system needs.
• Recommend configurations to meet customer needs and document builds for approval.
• Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications.
• Administer and maintain enterprise management software.
• Provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012 / 2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments.
• Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications.
• Administer Linux and / or UNIX Operating Systems.
• Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and scripting.
• Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
• Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit).
• Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and / or ScienceLogic SL1.

Salary

Posted Salary Range : USD $120,000.00 - USD $143,000.00 / Yr. The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including market location, knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package may include other elements to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, the employee will be in an at-will position and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary or other compensation programs at any time.
