Contents Specialist

BRIEF DESCRIPTION : $18-$22 per hour

The Contents Specialist plays a vital role in the BluSky Team, expertly handling a variety of contents cleaning tasks essential for both residential and commercial properties.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Field Duties

Skilled in all aspects of restoration including :

Pack outs

On-site cleaning

Content processing and deodorization

Upholstery and carpet cleaning

Content storage and handling

Water damage mitigation

Microbial remediation

Structural board-up and security

Safe handling of cleaning chemicals

Supervise and manage temporary labor personnel on-site

Document the overall condition of content with photos prior to packing

Complete essential paperwork including emergency mitigation spec sheets, daily summaries, moisture tracking logs, diagrams, work authorizations, and inventories

Ensure the content cleaning and storage areas are maintained to the highest professional standards

General Responsibilities

Participate in BluSky's emergency mitigation on-call management rotation

Deliver exceptional customer service

Adhere to all company best practices

Perform other duties or projects as necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :

This role does not have direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Ability to follow instructions

Strong communication skills

Proficient computer skills, including handheld mobile devices

Ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors / employees

Self-starter with excellent organizational and planning skills

EDUCATION :

High School Graduate or equivalent

TRAVEL :

Minimal travel required (less than 10% of time). Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
