Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Conducts basic properties testing to determine product conformance to specifications
- Identifies “out-of-spec” materials as defined by the material specifications.
- Communicates discrepancies initiating appropriate inter-departmental “Final Inspection Out of Spec Report” forms
- Enters test result in ERP (DEACOM and QC database (Excel)
- Operates testing equipment by following operating instructions as required
- Responsible for the preparation and hand-spraying of application panels
- Ensures that QC equipment calibrations, verification and maintenance meets requirements
- Conducts sample tests as specified by customer. Communicates discrepancies to team leader, QC supervisor or QC manager
- Assist with raw material testing
- Assists with Pre-Treatment product testing
- Relieves other technicians as needed
- Utilizes prudent practices and appropriate safety, health, and environmental procedures as required

Minimum High School Diploma concentrating in Mathematics and Science

0 – 2 years of experience; Industrial or automotive experience preferred
