job_description.job_card.job_descriptionYou must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, plus access to an insured vehicle for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings. Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Training provided on the job. Communication skills : comprehend and provide correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills : ability to perform arithmetic accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen; strong eye-hand coordination. Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees (cooler) to 90 degrees and above in some areas; temperature changes between indoors and outdoors. Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust; hot surfaces and moving equipment; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Standing for most tasks; walking short distances; siting for paperwork as needed. Lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying items up to 3 pounds 7 ounces; pizza sauce up to 30 pounds; trays of dough weighing about 12 pounds each; deliveries may involve cases of ingredients and supplies.
