Job Overview
Hartsdale, NY – Art Center Coordinator (Part‑time) at One River School of Art + Design .
Base pay range : $16.50 / hr – $20.00 / hr .
Responsibilities
- Assist with student art show hanging and reception preparation.
- Help run birthday party events.
- Attend off‑site events.
- Assist with marketing by distributing rack cards in the community.
- Answer phones and meet and greet students and parents at the front desk.
- During summer, document classroom activity and upload photos to Padlet (training provided).
- Assist with any required administrative duties.
Qualifications / Requirements
Thoughtful communication skills.Detail‑oriented, self‑starter, well‑organized with the ability to set weekly priorities and goals for assigned tasks.Some weekend availability required; must be willing to work on Sundays.1+ years of customer service experience.1+ years of previous administrative experience preferred but not required.A demonstrated interest in visual arts (studying visual arts in college or taking fine art classes, etc.).Nice to Have
Familiarity with G‑Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.).Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)—not required.Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and local Westchester blogs.Any interest or experience in art education or museum education.Equal Employment Opportunity
