Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team as an individual contributor reporting to the Lead Data Scientist. You will drive the development of diagnostic algorithms and collaborate with people in both engineering and clinical roles. This role requires independence, critical thinking, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Analyze and model complex datasets from clinical trialsImprove diagnostic methods and generate new clinical hypothesesPartner with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data-driven modelsPresent insights and recommendations to leadershipGuide junior data scientists and foster a collaborative learning cultureRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or related field (advanced degree preferred)5+ years of applied machine learning experience (feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, clustering, regression, tree-based methods, deep learning)Proven expertise in Python with proficiency in data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, etc.)Proven expertise in statistical analysis (hypothesis testing, etc.)Proficiency with Git and comfort using the command-line environmentStrong communicator, able to work independently and in teamsPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of signal processing, cardiovascular physiology, and / or hemodynamicsKnowledge in medical statisticsHands-on experience with PHI and EHR datasets, with strong understanding of data privacy and HIPAA complianceExperience in or comfort with FDA-regulated environments (Quality Systems, Design Control)Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platformsExperience with presenting and / or writing in an academic settingWork Style & Culture
