Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details :

Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts

On-call requirement every other weekend from Friday night at 4 : 00 PM to Monday morning at 5 : 59 AM

Potential to float to Interventional Radiology (IR)

Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on daily assignments

Required certifications : BLS, PALS, and ACLS via American Heart Association

Must obtain one of the following certifications : RCIS by CCI, RCES by CCI, RCS by CCI, CI by ARRT, CV by ARRT, or VI by ARRT

New Mexico state licensure required (RRT, CS, DMS, FUS, or VS by MIRTP NMED)

Graduate from accredited radiology technology school or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required

0-1 year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Prepare catheterization lab and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition

Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements

Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards throughout procedures

Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency

Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage

Support cardiac catheterization procedures and anticipate physician needs

Maintain proficiency in specialized cath lab technologies and equipment operation

Adhere to organizational policies regarding patient safety, privacy, and infection control
