Overview
Position Overview : SEG Solar is seeking an Associate-Level Contract Attorney to support our General Counsel, COO, CEO and sales team in managing and negotiating purchase agreements, long-term supply agreements, and other commercial contracts. This role requires a detail-oriented, business-minded attorney who can handle both complex negotiations and day-to-day legal tasks—inclusive of sending formal notices, default letters, FME, and similar communications.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, long-term supply agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements.
- Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on contract terms, payment structures, insurance, bonding, and compliance.
- Prepare and send formal notices, default letters, and other contractual communications.
- Support project teams with contract interpretation, enforcement, and compliance tracking.
- Resolve or assist in handling disputes, claims, and litigation matters.
- Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- Coordinate with external counsel on high-volume or complex matters.
- Maintain organized records of contract versions, amendments, approvals, and deadlines.
- Review NDAs, vendor agreements, and internal policies as needed.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the State of Texas3-5 years of experience in contract law, ideally with exposure to commercial transactions, supply agreements, and licensingStrong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk managementExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management toolsThe SR Group (US), Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
