We have a great opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team.
This role sits within the Communications & Brand team and will support communications that build International’s image and relationships with priority stakeholders – employees, dealers, customers, suppliers and partners.
The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio showcasing creative content that directly connects with broader business goals. They will have thrived in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment and be adept at building collaborative relationships across functional areas. They will be an excellent listener and communicator who has managed assigned projects from conception to finalization.
This is a full-time position based in Lisle, Illinois near Chicago.
Responsibilities Specific responsibilities may include :
Generate and develop concepts that not only meet the brief, but also measure up to high creative standards.
Ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met on time, within budget.
Support the agency culture of collaboration, positivity, excellence and creative problem-solving.
Design a wide variety of brand assets that advance internal clients’ strategic intent across all platforms and media types.
Manage the production process, including working with production companies, other designers, printers, etc.
Multi-task on several projects at once, under pressure and on tight deadlines.
Collaborate with colleagues on the Communications & Brand Team to set the visual tone, appearance and overall aesthetic of International’s brand portfolio and to develop ideas that engage priority stakeholders within and outside of International.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of graphic design experience
OR
Master’s degree and no experience
OR
At least 3 years of graphic design experience
Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
Desired Skills Portfolio necessary via PDF or website
Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suites, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign required
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs required
Skills in Figma a plus
Can deliver solid, realistic design and campaign ideas with consistency
Has production and presentation design experience with ability to articulate the vision
Able to present creative ideas in meetings
Strong interpersonal relations and problem-solving skills
Consistently displays a professional and positive service-oriented demeanor
Excellent eye for detail and design aesthetics
Expert knowledge of typography, layout, color theory and hierarchy for both print and web
Able to communicate creative ideas visually, verbally, and in writing
Time management skills to tackle numerous projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Experience with designing print and presentation materials preferred
