Toole Design Group in Boston, MA is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Civil Engineer II / III . A Day in the Life of an Engineer II / III

As an Engineer II / III, you help design safer, more sustainable transportation networks while growing your skills working with experts in the field. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver multimodal projects, from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects, using tools like AutoCAD to produce high-quality plans. You manage tasks and small projects, coordinate with clients, and contribute to everything from feasibility studies and concept plans to construction documents. Your work helps make communities more connected and livable.

We are targeting a salary of $85,000 to $97,500 for this position, candidates with a PE may qualify for more.

Qualifications of an Engineer II / III :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
• 2+ years of transportation related experience
• Experience in AutoCAD
• Specific knowledge of roadway geometric design

Work Schedule for an Engineer II / III

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home up to two days per week. The Boston office of Toole Design is conveniently located just outside of Post Office Square in downtown Boston, blocks from multiple MBTA subway lines and walking distance from both North and South stations. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.
