About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Mammography Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 5x8 (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : Active state license required

Certifications : ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Experience with 3D Mammography
• Experience with Digital Mammography
• Experience with Screening Mammograms

Description :

The required hours will vary from a start time of 6 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM.

X-ray experience is a plus.

The position may require some floating to different locations in the area.

The patient age group includes adults and geriatrics.

Procedures include 3D Mammography, Digital Mammography, and Screening Mammograms.

Professional knowledge should include Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Isolation Precautions, Clienttion Safety, and Universal Precautions / Core Measures.

Experience in outpatient X-ray is preferred.

Electronic documentation experience with EPIC is preferred.

Orientation will be provided to familiarize you with procedures and protocols.
