About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join the Dorchester School District No. 2 for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, school-based position supporting students with communication disorders in a variety of classroom settings including autism, physical disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, and hearing impairment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students

Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage IEPs

Collaborate with general and special education teachers, parents, and administrators

Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings

Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance requirements

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Active South Carolina SLP license – required

Active South Carolina Educator Certification – required

ASHA CCC’s required – Clinical Fellows not accepted at this time

School-based experience strongly preferred

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
