Responsibilities Position located in a hospital Cath Lab environment Typical schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 0700 to 1730 Call required : 1 night per week and every 4th weekend Floats to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals depending on volume and census Late team rotation assigned once weekly to complete remaining cases Cerner charting experience required No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility RNs rotate through call duties and may float to Interventional Radiology if Cath Lab case load is low Team configuration is typically 4 per room, with call teams operating with 3 staff Scrubs in hospital-provided blue attire Holiday coverage required as assigned, with flexibility for requests based on department needs Maximum of 10 days of requested time off permitted; if requesting time off during holidays, must work one major holiday First-time travelers will be considered if minimum experience is met Professional conduct is held to the highest standard, with heightened enforcement of conduct policies Requirements Active IN or compact RN license required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required NIHSS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required for first time travelers Travelers with at least 1 year Cath Lab experience must have previous travel experience Must be able to function independently in a 3- or 4-person procedure team Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules within 1 week of signing is preferred Cerner charting experience is required Must not have been employed at the facility within the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615114.
