About the Role :

Ensures smooth and efficient operation of the HVAC systems, keeping the RDU Airport Authority facilities running like a well-tuned aircraft. This role navigates through a variety of maintenance challenges, much like a skilled pilot adapting to changing conditions, ensuring the safe and reliable function of our public facility. Additionally, the Senior Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in weather-related operations, such as snow removal or hurricane preparedness, ensuring our 24 / 7 operation remains airborne without turbulence. This is a 2nd shift position, working from 2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. The schedule will be either Sunday through Thursday (with Friday and Saturday off) or Tuesday through Saturday (with Sunday and Monday off).
