Do you have a knack for quality control and a sharp eye for detail? We're looking for a skilled Inbound Inspector to join our client's team in Linthicum Heights, MD . If you have experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Details

  • Pay Rate : $23 / hr
  • Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM
  • Location : Linthicum Heights, MD

Responsibilities

  • Inspect a sample from each inbound shipment to ensure parts meet engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify part dimensions.
  • Use a variety of measuring tools, including calipers , micrometers , and other graduated measuring devices, to take precise measurements.
  • Document inspection results, noting any variances or rejections.
  • Properly store approved parts in designated warehouse locations.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed for inspection.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar quality control or inspection role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
  • Basic math skills and legible handwriting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
