job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the education location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergencies as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or disturbances encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying proper identification as required. Communicate clearly and professionally with students, faculty, and visitors, providing directions or information as needed. Document incidents and actions taken in detailed written reports according to Allied Universal guidelines. Work collaboratively with campus staff and law enforcement as directed, maintaining a professional presence at all times. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Security Officer - Unarmed Education Patrol

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
