Description :
This position involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU.
Candidates should possess a compact nursing license.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is required.
Strong skills in CRRT are necessary for this role.
The schedule requires flexibility between day and night shifts.
Nurses will float to IMCU as needed.
The facility values strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 is preferred.
Candidates should be familiar with the Epic charting system.
Previous charge experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
The nurse will be responsible for managing a variety of critical conditions.
Skills in accessing ports and managing central lines are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to interpret dysrhythmias.
Experience in managing ventilated patients is required.
Knowledge of infection prevention protocols is necessary.
Candidates should be prepared to care for patients with multi-system organ failure.
