Tax Manager Or Light Senior Manager NYC (3 Days / Week In-Office)

Seeking a Tax Manager or light Senior Manager with strong corporate / entity tax experience in the consumer goods industry, with some individual and trust exposure (corporate-focused).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and review complex corporate, partnership, and some individual / trust tax engagements
  • Oversee planning, execution, and wrap-up of multiple client engagements
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff and seniors
  • Review tax workpapers, returns, and ensure compliance with firm standards
  • Serve as main client contact for complex issues and tax planning
  • Research technical issues and propose practical solutions
  • Stay current on industry and regulatory developments

Qualifications :

  • CPA or EA required; Master's in Accounting or Taxation preferred
  • 8+ years of public accounting or related experience, 5+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong client management, communication, and technical skills
  • Experience with CCH Axcess, GoFileRoom, Engagement, BNA, SurePrep, Microsoft 365
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize, and lead multiple engagements
