This facility is part of a multi-specialty healthcare system with an Urgent Care center adjacent to the hospital and emergency medicine department. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care
Job Details :
- 0.75 FTE position in a busy Urgent Care setting
- Must be certified to care for individuals of all ages
- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
- Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide care emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
- Manage patient variety and high-acuity needs
- Work schedule includes 2-3 shifts / week rotating every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
- Clinic hours : Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm
- Variable schedule may include floating to cover CME / vacations at Park Rapids HWY 34 Walk-In Clinic
- Opportunity to provide coverage in ED if interested
- Join a team of 3 Advanced Practice Providers with MD oversight
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's / Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Walk-In or Urgent Care preferred
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota (if NP)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota
- National certification in applicable area
- Current CPR certification
- Position requires high level of customer service skills
- Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice
Compensation :
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
