About The Position

ID : 72059387 Shift : 8 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Rad Description : Job Summary : An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Schedule Notes : A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (can be obtained after the offer); and possession of a current advanced-level certification from ARRT is required.Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following : (only one (1) certification below is required)ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional RadiologyARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional RadiologyARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional RadiologySkills : Required Skills & Experience : -Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting. Preferred Skills & Experience : -N / AEducation : Required Education : -Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program. Preferred Education : -N / A Required Certifications & Licensure : -Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. -Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
