job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM (5x8 hour days) 36 guaranteed hours per week No weekend requirements except for special occasions (Sunday November 23rd and Sunday December 21st) No on-call requirements 2 years of experience required Required certifications : BLS (AHA only), ARRT, and VA License (or temp license with pending VA license) Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs and follow facility dress code policy Work with EPIC electronic medical record system Provide daily care of cancer patients including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments Perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students Assist in Brachytherapy procedures and treatment planning including tumor localization and dosimetry Schedule patients and explain pre-treatment and post-treatment procedures Prepare room and equipment according to prescription requirements Take and check images of all treated areas Maintain visual and audible contact with patients during treatments Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel Document treatment doses accurately and maintain proper billing records Set up IMRT and 3-D patients properly in CT and make immobilization devices Referral bonus
