Senior Manager, FP&A Nashville - Green Hills area (onsite with flexibility for family and life outside of work)

A publicly traded manufacturer is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A to own the forecast, rebuild and standardize models, and lead a small team. This is a player / coach role : youll be hands-on in Excel while coaching two analysts and partnering directly with business leaders.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Full ownership of monthly forecasts and annual planning cycles
  • Rebuilding scrappy models into scalable, accurate tools
  • Partnering with ELT and functional leaders especially Marketing to align spend, drivers, and results
  • Producing variance analysis with clear actions and timelines
  • Driving process discipline : calendars, tie-outs, checks, and documentation
  • Supporting pricing committee analytics and other ad-hoc projects with fast, accurate insights

Qualifications :

  • 712+ years in FP&A or corporate finance with hands-on forecasting / model ownership
  • Strong manufacturing literacy : understand standard cost, variances, and how they flow through P&L, cash, and EBITDA
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort pulling from BI tools (Power BI experience preferred)
  • Track record of raising quality and accuracy in FP&A processes
  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts while still being hands-on
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to reconcile data views and influence leaders
