Job Title : Picker Packer

Department : Manufacturing

Reports To : Plant Manager

Salary Range : $20.00 - $21.50

(Actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience)

Summary :

Responsible for picking and packaging products and materials needed to support production and operational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Cleaning and tidying as directed.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers.
• Load and unload inventory, stock, and supplies as required.
• Put away incoming inventory into specified areas.
• Move and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools and other equipment.
• Work on and operate carts, dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Print tags, attach, package, and assign product assembly number to align with internal part and assembly processes.
• Coordinate with and other departments to expedite orders as needed.
• Support shipping and receiving processes as directed by department manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working area.
• Additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Ability to work indoors on your feet and wear required personal protective equipment during your shift as required. Utilization of controls, operation of machines or computers to support daily work activities. Accurate hand / eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift product weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to elements such as loud noise, hazardous equipment, heat, dirt, dust, fumes, and other materials. Company safety standards must be always followed.
