About The Position

Job Title : Tele Tech

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent experience

License : High School Diploma or GED

Certifications : Registered / Active Certification as a Cardiographic Technician or EKG Technician

Must-Have : Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification obtained through the American Heart Association

Description :

Position involves monitoring cardiac rhythms and assisting in patient care.

Work schedule consists of 3 shifts per week on nights.

Floating to different units may be required based on facility needs.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

The candidate must possess strong EKG interpretation skills.

Regular maintenance of monitoring equipment is expected.

Communication of rhythm variances to nursing and physician personnel is essential.

The role requires obtaining 12 lead EKG / ECG as needed.

Documentation and printing of rhythm strips for patient charts are necessary duties.

Candidates should have knowledge of various cardiac conditions and rhythms.

A strong ability to troubleshoot alarms is important for this position.

The focus will be on providing quality care to adult and geriatric patients.

Compliance with facility policies and procedures is mandatory.
