Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems. Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts. Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Snagit) is a plus. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, write, and maintain user guides, manuals, and other documentation for software applications.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand the software's functionality.
- Create diagrams, screenshots, and other visual aids to enhance the documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the company's quality standards.
- Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and software documentation.
