About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 18 months in Endoscopy with scrub / tech experience in Bronchoscopy, EGD, and Colonoscopy.

License : Must have active state nursing license or compact license.

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Scrub / tech experience in Bronchoscopy cases.
• Competence in Colonoscopies, EGD, and Bronchoscopies.

Description :

The role involves pre-screening for procedures in the endoscopy unit.

Candidates must have the ability to scrub and tech for Bronchoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), and Colonoscopy procedures.

Experience in special procedures such as Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) is preferred.

The candidate will work with adult and geriatric populations.

Daily patient census may vary from 5 to 20.

Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary staff.

The RN will be working with patients diagnosed with various gastrointestinal conditions and will be involved in the workup of transplant patients.

Candidates must be willing to float to other facilities within the system as needed.

Two supervisor references are required for consideration.

Travel experience is a requirement for this position.
