The Manager of Finance for Manufacturing & Operations is responsible for overseeing financial operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. This role bridges financial management with operational strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and data-driven decision-making to support business growth and efficiency. This position is 100% on-site at the Grayslake, IL facility.
Job Requirements
- Prepare and analyze weekly, and monthly reporting in various areas of concentration for plant operations, such as : Manufacturing Variances, PPV (Purchase Price Variance), Inventory Adjustments, Freight, etc.
- Prepare monthly Operations Forecast and Variances and participate in the Business and Strategic forecasts
- Work closely with Operations Management
- ERP System Knowledge and Experience working in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment
- Support local teams to participate in annual physicals, WIP counts, and implement cycle counting program
- Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures and assist with audits
- Understand the manufacturing processes with hands on experience to be able to support the Operations team and help identify improvements, efficiencies, and audit risks
- Understand key cost streams and identify and drive cost saving opportunities (TEBIT)
- Assist in the month end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and analysis of results
- Develop detailed cost center spending forecasts and budgets
- Manage the Annual Standard Costing process
- Partner with Plant Operations Team on strategic initiatives; provide decision support activities on key business cases and projects
- Provide direct support to the management and work closely with Plant Operations in both the Grayslake, IL Plant and the Fairmont, NC Plant
- Identification of savings opportunities and focus on continuous improvement a must
- Prepare the monthly capital forecast, capitalize, audit, and tag assets

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance7 plus years of manufacturing environment experienceStrong analytical skillsAnalysis and problem-solving skills, strong Excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics.Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTeam player with the ability to develop strong relationships with business partners.Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Advanced Skills in ExcelDynamics 365 Business CentralCompetencies

Compensation
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $114,900 145,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
