Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour days (No call, every other weekend required)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1650 - $1770

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

Ability to work every other weekend

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Submission of work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and two supervisory reference forms (within the last two years)

Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius from Alma, MI

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate emergency care to ER, observation, and outpatient patients

Initiate immediate care in life-threatening situations in the absence of a physician

Perform complex and routine nursing procedures in a fast-paced emergency department

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members

Deliver patient-specific discharge and follow-up instructions with sensitivity

Communicate effectively with EMS and relay physician orders for pre-hospital care

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies

Assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and document care

Evaluate and update treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
