Job Description

We are seeking a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a strong background in Medicare and managed care environments to join our patient-centered team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing chronic conditions in older adults, understanding value-based care principles, and working in coordination with care teams to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and senior patients
  • Conduct preventive care visits, chronic disease management, and acute care as needed
  • Collaborate with care teams including nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and specialists
  • Adhere to documentation standards and clinical protocols aligned with value-based care metrics
  • Utilize EMR effectively for documentation, coding, and care coordination
  • Participate in quality initiatives and care plan development for high-risk patients
  • Maintain compliance with CMS regulations and managed care expectations

Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with Medicare and managed care populations preferred
  • Familiarity with value-based care, HEDIS, and risk adjustment coding a plus
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and team collaboration skills
